'Queen of May' Will Be Crowned Sunday

The question. "Who will he the
Queen of May," which has been ask
ed hundreds of times on the campus
will be answered next Sunday in For
rest theatre at the annual May Day
festivities.
A Queen to reign over the occasion
was selected several weeks ago in a
mass coed balloting, but her name will
remain a secret until she and her at
tendants are revealed next Sunday.
The event will tie sponsored by the
Panhellenic council, and the CICA
with the cooperation of the Dramatic
Art department, Chi Omega, Phi
Literary society, and the modern
dance crroun. Chancellor Robert P,.
House has been selected to crown the
Queen in the ceremonies which will
include the Woman's Glee club, a
modern dance group directed by Nancy
Brock and a pageant. Henrietta Coop
er is pageant director which will in
clude Vincent Cassidy as the- prime
minister; James Riley, jester: and
Bill Taylor, prince.
Last year's pageant which took
place in Sleepy Hollow and featured

PRE-SCHOOL CLINIC
The pre-school 'clinic sponsored by
the Health department will be held at
the elementary school building Tues
day morning, May 6, from 9 until 1
o'clock. All children who expect to
attend next fall for the first time
should attend the clinic. Beginners
must be 6 years old by October 1 to
enter school.
