Are To Meet
Three church groups are plan
ning activities for this coming
weekend.
The Westminister Fellowship
meeting, at 6:15 Sunday night in
the Presbyterian Annex, will dis
cuss "Labor Problems". Mem
bers will also meet for a picnic
lunch Saturday at the home of
George Worth where they will
plan for next year's activities.
The Baptist Student Union will
be host to Miss Beverly Neilson
at 6 p.m. at the supper f urum,
when Miss Neilson will be pre
sented as guest speaker by Jarr.es
W. Ray, state secretary of the
Baptist Student Union. Miss Neil
son will serve this summer as a
missionary in Hawaii, sponsored
by BSU's throughout North Car
olina. The Wesley ans will have their
supper at 6 p.m. Sunday night,
followed by a worship program

Conference Is Slated
Plans are now being made for
a student conference on a "Court
ship and Marriage" to be held
here soon. It will be for all Car
olina students, -particularly those
engaged, pinned, or marrieci.
The florifeernce will include
four, evening sessions ' with mov
ies and talks by Mrs. Arnold Nash,
Dr. Reuben Hill, and others. One
of the highlights will be the per
sonal discussions that may bo
scheduled with the conference
leaders.
Some of the problems scheduled
for the session are;-What are-the
proper techniques of. courtship?
How important is it four a couple
to have common interest, ideals,
and life purposes? How is real
happiness in marriage obtainable?
