But Carolina be gins practice each year with fingers crossed, and the result is that Tar Heels wrestling fluctuates from good to bad and we have yet to get our backs off the mat yet agamst the Terps, This year was one of the bad ones. "It has' been a strange sea son," Barnes remarked. "We were very unbalanced with some strong weight divisions and many weak ones. The other teams geared their strategy ac cordingly and just hit at it. It is hard to go out knowing we will be giving away 14 points a match. The boys work hard, but we were short on confidence."
