'The composite information from our study will be used to prepare major revisions in the curriculum to be implemented in 1969," explained Miss Charlene Nelson, assistant pro fessor of physical therapy and project director. She said a major part of the project will be visits and in terviews at other health facilities in the U.S. to learn how physical therapists are being prepared educationally. Crawford To Receive Honorary Degree The chairman of the UNC physics department, Prof. James H. Crawford, has been elected to receive an honorary doctor of science degree at commencement exercises May 26 by the-Wofford College Board of Trustees, Spartan burg, S.C. Prof. Crawford joined the faculty of the University of North Carolina in 1967. He is a 1943 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wof ford College. He was member of the staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and in . 1955, and this year represented the United States as a technical delegate to the United Nations International Conference on .Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy in Geneva, Switzerland, where he presented papers. Prof Crawford has served as editor of the Journal of Applied Physics and as editor of Ap plied Physics Letters. In 1961 he headed a Task Force under the President's" Science Advisor to investigate the federal role in the distribution ?of scientific and technical information."- t. ; ". Blyth of Chapel Hill has been selected the win ner of the 1963 Honor Award of the Southern District of the American Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
