Tech at 1:30 p.m.; Junior varsity tennis at same time; Varsity tennis match with South Carolina at 2 p.m.; Varsity baseball with Clemson at 3 p.m. North Carolina's football team staged its final scrim mage session of Spring prac tice Wednesday in preparation for Saturday's annual Blue White game. Tar Heel quarterback Gayle Bomar of Grand Rapids Mich, suffered an injury to his right elbow and is a doubtful starter Saturday. "Bomar was running our of fense well until he was in jured" Coach Bill Dooley said. "Other than that we played poorly as a unit." Dooley singled out linebacker Mark Mazza of D u n d e s Ontario for his fine play dur ing the session. "I think that our goal-line defensive unit did a particular ly good job too" Dooley noted. The team will rest today and hold a light workout Fri day before Saturday's final Spring session at Kenan Stadium. A large number of former Tar Heel lettermen are ex pected to be on hand for Saturday's 1:30 kickoff. These former players will be guests of thp football staff at a picnic 1 f following the game. A special highlight of the game will be the presentation of the new Chuck Erickson Award at halftime. The Carolina Athletic Director will make the award to the outstan ding hustler in Spring practice. The quotas for three of the NC flights from NY to Lon don are not filled.
