The Can-Do poncho will stop rain, sleet
and snow. Take it anywhere. It's com
pact, lightweight but sturdy. Fight the
drizzle in Kenan Stadium. Brave showers
between classes. Be gallant on dates. Be a
Can-Do person in any kind of weather.
Get your free Can-Do poncho exclusive
ly at First-Citizens Bank. Just open a
checking account with $100 or more at

Eye research
given money
A S 23. 000 grant for continued eye
research has been awarded to the UNC
Ophthalmic Laboratory.
The grant is another in a series from
the N.C. Association for the Blind. Since
its establishment in 1955, the association
has contributed more than SI 50,000 in
grants from Jie association.
It is the only state facility specializing
in eye research and pathology. It also
analyzes eye tissue specimens for private
eye specialists throughout the state.
Extensive research programs and
development of Innovative surgical and
treatment techniques are other activities
of the laboratory.
Contributions from local N.C. Lions
Clubs are the main source of support for
the association and the laboratory.
The wastebaskets in front of the Student Union are obviously well-used. Too-useu.
one might add, unless the architectural qualities of trahcan oerflow are conudered
