The Chancellor's Committee to consider a curriculum in women's studies will hold an open meeting Tuesday in rooms 202-204 of the U nion. Anyone interested in a women's studies program at UNC is urged to attend and voice his opinion about the possible nature and goals of such a curriculum. Although there are currently several academic courses regarding women, this is the first attempt to possibly draw them into an organized curriculum. Interested persons unable to participate may submit a letter with ideas and comments to the committee chairman. Dr. Richard L. Simpson, chairman of the Department of Sociology. The committee hopes to make a recommendation soon to the Faculty Committee on the desirability of a women's studies curriculum at UNC.
