The Student Consumer Action Union
(SCAU) is now distributing its 1975 edition
of the Southern Part of Heaven?, a guide for.
student apartment hunters.
The new apartment guide will be available
free of charge at the Union desk, the
Undergraduate Library and the SCAU
office in Suite B of the Union.
The new edition contains general
information about local apartments and a
list of complaints received from tenants in a
survey. The book also contains a section on
landlord-tenant relations and the legal
aspects of renting.
Vietnam slideshow
"Vietnam Today A Firsthand Report,"
a slideshow and discussion program by
editor Irwin Silber, will be presented at 3
p!m. Saturday, April 19, in room 202 of the
Student Union.
Silber, editor of the Weekly Guardian, an
independent radical newspaper, traveled
widely in North Vietnam and areas of South
Vietnam now controlled by the Provisional
Revolutionary Government.
The program is sponsored by the Chapel
Hill Peace Center and the New American
Movement.
Golden Fleece to tap
The Order of the Golden Fleece will hold
its annual tapping ceremony at 8 p.m. Friday
inGerrard Hall. Chapel Hill Mayor Howard
Lee will be the guest speaker.
Founded in 1904, the Order of theGolden.
Fleece is the oldest and highest honorary
society at UNC and selects its members for
outstanding leadership, integrity, service
and exceptional achievement in a particular
field of endeavor. . -
Correction
In the D1H Wednesday, April 16, 1975, it
was reported that the Chapel Hill Board of
Aldermen requested $465 million in federal
funds. The amount should have read
$465,000.
