The ensemble, which consists of five trumpets, four trombones, six saxophones, a six-person rhythm section and four vocalists, has toured throughout the United States and Europe. In addition to the music of traditional jazz bands (like Glenn Miller and Count Basie), BJRE plays progressive jazz and many of their own compositions.
