The Duke University SummerTrieater will present Oh,
Coward, a medley of songs and scenes written by Noel
Coward, at 8: IS p.m. today through Sunday in the East
Duke Music Room on Duke's east campus. For

Oklahoma! is now playing at the Village Dinner

Dance
The American Dance festival will open its season at 8
p.m. on Tuesday in Page Auditorium in Durham with a
program of traditional dances of North Carolina,
followed by a reception and square dance Tor alL

taught by leading members of the festival's faculty.

Three Nobel prize winners will lecture at a scientific
conference Monday through Wednesday in he Gross
Chemical Laboratory at Duke University.
Charles Townes. winner of the Nobel prize in physics,
will speak at 9 a.m. Monday on "Chemical Discoveries
and Problems in Astronomy." Arno Penzias, who also
received the Nobel prize in physics, will speak at a 9 a.m.
session Tuesday on "Broad and Narrow Lines from
Space." and Gerhard Herzberg. recipient of .the Nobel
prize in chemistry, will speak in the 9 a.m. session
Wednesday on A Ryberg Spectrum of Triatomic
Hydrogen. .
The conference is sponsored by the Army Research

Opera
Verdi's King For A Day will be sung in English at 3
p.m. on Sunday in the Carolina Theater in downtown
Durham. Reserved seat and general admission tickets are
available at Page box office Monday through Friday or at
the Carolina Theater on Sunday.
Concerts
The Charlie Daniels Band will appear in concert at the
Paladium amphitheater at Carowinds at 3 p.m. and 8
p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2 in addition to the regular
$7.95 admission into Carowinds.
Hands, a jazz quartet, will perform at 8 p.m. 1 uesday in
the Pit. In case of rain the concert will be in the Great
Hall. .
A complete performance of Schubert's epic song-cycle
'Die interreise' will be presented by Mark Bowman
Hester, tenor, and Kymric Mahnke. pianist, at 8: 1 5 p.m.
tonight in Person Recital Hall. The concert is open to the
public free of charge, but admission w ill be limited to 100
people ona first-come, first-served basis. -
A special pops concert by the North Carolina Chamber .
Players will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, on the lawn
of the Durham Arts Council Building, featuring great
waltzes and polkas by Johann and Josef Strauss. The
concert is open to the public and free of charge. .

Two new shows are now showing at the Morehead
Planetarium. Juggernaut, a science fiction spectacular
