Village is trying to finish servicing the
town.
Carrboro residents are served by Alert
Cable TV. Viewers are offered 14 channels
of various programming.
Included in this package are the
Christian Broadcasting Network, a 24
hour religious channel; WGN-Chicago,
which televises Chicago Cubs and Bulls
games; and Nickelodeon, a children's
channel.
Both cable systems are attempting to
service other areas of Orange County not
presently covered, Grills said.
David Thompson
for the record
In a July 24 column, it was incorrectly
stated in The Tar Heel that Sonja Stone
aiid her lawyer established a prima-facie
case of racism and personal malice against
Dean Samuel R. Williamson, and that
Williamson failed to overcome the burden
of proof. The prima-facie case was not, in
fact, proved. The Tar Heel regrets the error.
