A certificate of participation will' be
presented to everyone who competes in the
Fun Run.
In addition, there will be random drawings
for prizes in which all runners are eligible.
The number of prizes to be given at the
random drawing 'has not yet been
determined. Campus Y Associate Director
James L. Smalley Jr. said.
"Students are out working on the prizes
now, so we're still not sure how many there
will be," Smalley said.
"The only way we have to raise money is to
sponsor fund-raising events like this," said
Beth Schofield, Campus Y co-treasurer.
"The $5 entry fee is really a contribution to
the Y," she said.
"We are trying to bring people out to have
a good time," Smalley said. "We'd like to
have between 300 and 400 (participants)."
