"It's a good feeling," he said. "It makes
you want to get higher in the ratings. I don't
think that I've peaked yet. My ranking will
probably go up this year."
North Carolina is not alone in having many
world-ranked swimmers on its teams. Sev
eral other teams including national women's
powers Stanford and Southern California
also have several of the world's top perfor
mers on their teams.
And the list does not stop there. UNC
Swim coach Frank Comfort said he has
hopes of convincing high school senior Lisa
Remele to attend Carolina in the fall. Re
mele is currently ranked 20th in the world in
the 50 meter freestyle. CP

Chost Story A predictable plot offers
little for scare-seekers. Four old-timers
hooked on spookery must fact their own
obviously nightmarish past when a ghost
appears to do them in. Trite stuff, but a
few good scenes and ghastly make-up
might save the day for die-hard horror
fans, at the Plaza III.
Airpiane! is a funny enough little movie
but does it really deserve the incredible
popularity and box-office success it has
met with? It's filled with about a million
cute little puns but it's all encased in such
a bland and slick movie that it seems a
little too calculated to be really satisfying.
It's humor for those who can't stomach
the kind of spice that Richard Pryor or
Woody Allen offer in . their films.
