Team captain failing to attend this week's two organi zational meetings should see Asst. IM-Rec Director Rob Frye as soon as possible, as entry forms will not be given out in the office. Experienced Softball officials will still be accepted, and interested persons should contact Frye or Asst. IM-Rec Director Janice Matson. 1982's edition of IM basketball playdowns breaks down into 44 residence hall teams, 29 frat, 50 gradind. 93 men's rec, eight women's competitive, 23 women's rec and so rority, 17 co-rec competitive and 17 co-rec rec. Basketball playoffs should run several weeks after spring break, as several divisions don't even start play until Mon. March 15. In a basketball related but a possible new IM sport area, Tom Feught of the Sociology Grads "Standard Deviants" basketball team inaugurated a new "contact" sport dur ing a recent IM basketball contest The new sport, dubbed "Easter Lens Hunt" by Assoc. IM-Rec Director Marty Pom erantz, featured Feught who after losing his contact lens and instigating a 15 minute 12-man search (including two IM officials), found the lens in his eye.
