By press time Friday, 33 teams had signed up for softball and 27 for basketbalt, according to K. Franklin, basketball and softball coordinator. No more teams in either sport can enter, Franklin said. Scheduling for summer basketball and softball is a modified instant scheduling system. Team cap tains signed up for a preferred time slot at the season's beginning that will be set for the entire season, not changing game by game as with semester play. Scheduling Questions should be directed to Franklin or Assistant IM-Rec Director Rob Frye.- Miche'le Lang3n Rushing, coordinator for rac quetbalt and tennis announced entry deadlines for those sports have been extended until June 17, the date playoffs in those sports begin. A team entering late is still responsible for the three-match require ment to make playoffs but there is no winning re quirement to make playoff play, Rushing said. Playoffs in softball and basketbalt are set to begin Mon., June 21. Tomorrow is the deadline for entering next week's medal play individual golf tournament Play begins tomorrow in the weekend softball marathon tournament, which runs through Sunday on Ehr inghaus field. Ail basketbalt competition will be held in Woollen, and all softball competition for the sum mer is set for Ehringhaus field, not Carmichael.
