What to do? Queue up in the drop-add lines. Students wishing to add or drop a course may do so during the drop-add period, which will be in progress through Friday. Students who wish to drop or add a course must secure a drop-add form from their General College advisor or the dean's office of their school, said Ben Perry, associate director of registration opera tions. Students must then go to the depart ment office of the courses involved to secure drop and add cards. Students wishing to both drop and add courses should attempt to secure their add cards first, Perry said. After students have obtained their forms and cards, they must take them to 01 Hanes Hall for processing. The drop-add procedure is similar for graduate students, but requires the authorized signature of Catherine Maley, associate dean of the graduate school, Perry said. Students who wish to take a course pass-fail may do so by application to the office of their academic, dean. Several regulations apply to the pass-fail process: Once a course has been declared pass-fail, the decision is irrevocable. A maximum of 24 hours may be taken pass-fail that will apply to gradua tion requirements. A maximum of seven hours may be taken pass-fail in a single semester. A failing grade in a class designated pass-fail will be computed as hours at tempted and will earn no quality points; a passing grade will not be computed. 1 "I" " 1 1 ULJUHIiUuUm"1"1" -J. ), 1'.' , ' V f f "" i - I . . - S ,i.f:.-fy.-',y.-i:!-..: .:::" , if " niiii(rt"1iili .ill"' '" -flltiWmiin. .fess -.
