Orientation and
resume writing
workshops
The purpose of these sessions is to provide specific
information about services provided by the Office of Career
Planning and Placement Services. Included will be procedures
for registration and a discussion of policies concerning on
campus interviewing: pre-screening, priority sign-up, etc.
Attendance at an Orientation Workshop is mandatory if you
plan to interview on campus. Roll will be taken at each
meeting for registration purposes.
Education and health science majors may wish to wait
to attend workshops given by UCPPS in their departments
later in the semester, if they do not plan to interview on
campus.
The first Resume Drop occurred on September 11, and
included employers interviewing between Oct. 1-26. The
second Resume Drop is Oct. 2. Students who are interested
in interviewing on campus Oct. 29-Dec. 7 should attend
workshops by Oct. 1.
