4Campus OrganizationsSeptember 20, 1984 Campus Organizations 'September 20, 1S345 4 fN w A w A W v V.-" Social organizations mostly fraternities and sororities on campus comprise about 20 percent of the students. From Thursday night mixers to Sigma Chi Derby Week, students involve themselves in all sorts of activity. Many social organizations have gained a "party reputation," and it's true, most do like to mix together and "socialize". Who can resist an all-campus party with the Spongetones or the Shake? And a mob of people you know ... or will know soon? Many students enjoy court parties after the football games, sponsored by several fraternity and sorority houses. Aside from the social activity, these organizations also concern themselves with fundraisers and special events to make money for charities. Derby Week, the biggest money makeer, involves almost all the groups. Name: Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
