The University offers a plethora of academic organizations, one which is sure to be right for any student. Through the organizations students can meet others with the same interests, and also obtain information relating to their major in many cases. There are groups that offer business contacts, experienced advice in a student's chosen field, and just someone else to talk with about common goals. Some groups are designed for certain majors. Some are simply open for anyone interested in a field of study. Many groups invite professionals to speak to their' members. Some hold workshops to help the members.
