Aside from the various political, religious and
educational organizations, there are numerous others
that do not fall under a specific category.
Students can join organizations such as the Carolina
Student Fund, which is involved in fundraising, and
the Senior Class of 1985, which devises a class gift
and helps to promote class spirit.
These "odds-and-ends" organizations are so varied
that students are sure to find one that meets their
interests.

The Union's the place to go between classes for
a quick Coke, to do a little reading or just to catch
some quick sleep for many students.
But it's more than just a building. Activities ranging
from College Bowl to films to special-interest groups
are going on daily in the Union. There's something
for everyone.
Getting involved means helping select Union films
for the year, putting up banners and otherwise
publicizing activities, planning "Evening at the Profs"
and arranging "How to" classes, which teach interested
students aerobic dance or how to cook.
Getting involved with your Union makes you a part
of Carolina Life essential to most students.
