Watch out By WAYNE GRIMSLEY Staff Writer Lovers of the gruesome and ghastly, and people with a strong desire to scream in fright will want to visit Mangum residence hall's annual Haunted House next Tuesday and Wednesday. Mangum residents will be scaring people with chainsaws and strobe lights from 9 p.m. to midnight each night, said organizer Davis Bradshaw, a sopho more from Raleigh. Profits from admission will go to the N.C. Burn Center. Mangum raised about $1,300 for the organization last year, Bradshaw said. The scenario includes a creature that will walk the stairways carrying an operating chainsaw. "We take the chain off," he said. "People think it is real."
