Stanford describes his purpose at Chapel of the Cross as "helping people find their identity and their vocation. A lot of what 1 see myself doing is enabling people to see what their gifts are and to see their calling." Of the campus ministry program, Stanford says. "We do a lot of offering to folks and then we let them choose what fits for them." . Programs at Chapel of the Cross include Bach's Lunch, a series of free noonday concerts, confirmation classes and Adopt a Student, in which students are matched with church families. The Anglican Student Fellowship is the student group at the church. On August 21 at 10 p.m., the ASF will hold its first Eucharist. On August 25, a cookout will follow the 5; 15 Eucharist; A fall retreat is planned for August 30-September 1.
