Gary Hart, D Colo., are scheduled to speak at Duke University. Hart will speak Jan. 27 at 8:15 p.m. in Page Auditorium on the Duke campus after holding a press conference at 7:30 p.m. The free event is expected to draw a full house, Elisa Long, chairman of the major speakers committee at Duke, said. Seating will be on a first come, first-serve basis, she added. Cuomo will be speaking sometime in March, in a talk sponsored by the Duke University Governor's Center, Long said. The topic, place and date of the speech are not set. Cuomo is speaking at the invita tion of former Duke president and current U.S. .Sen. Terrv. Robin Britt should get a recount in the 6th District congressional race because numerous irregularities cast doubt on the validity of the Nov. 4 election, his attorneys said.
