Franklin St. Cover price is $4. The New Theater Company of ArtsCenter will present Larry Shue's hilarious comedy. The Foreigner at 8 p.m. at the ArtsCenter, 300-G East Main St. in Carrboro. The play will run through Sat. July 25. The Foreigner, first of two plays in The New Theater Company's mini season of summer theater, takes place at a fishing lodge resort in Georgia where an odd mix of characters including a forlorn Englishman and a do-gooder preacher confront each other and the KKK. Franklin St at 9 and 1 1 p.m. "Critical Condition," starring Richard Pryor, will be shown at the Carolina Union Auditorium at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Admission is free with UNC ID or Union Privilege card. "AIDS: In Search of a Miracle," a film documentary, will be shown in Room 10 of the Health Sciences Library at noon. Admission is free.
