Celebrating St. P
By KAREN HATTON
Think you're seeing green today?
Don't worry because it's St. Patrick's
Day. It's also a perfect excuse to go
out (you don't have to be Irish, but
it helps) and celebrate.
If you really want authentic Irish
fare, go to Molly Maguire's Irish Pub.
The special for the day is (do you
need help with this one?) corned beef
and cabbage. (There are no drink
Spanky's is also featuring corned
beef and cabbage along with Black
and Tan (a traditional Irish drink) and
Irish whiskey as the specials for the

will also be on sale.

And Darryl's will be providing an
Irish motif with a table of (yes, you
guessed it!) corned beef and cabbage
with roast pig at noon. There will be
specials on Irish beers and drinks. Kegs
will be set up on the upper level.
Sometime during the day, WTRC's
Mark Patrick will be at Darryl's to
hand out a $100 bill to the first three
people to recognize him. From 9
pmto 1 am, the band Cream of Soul
will be playing. At midnight, there will
be a raffle for a 19-inch television.
Anyone over 18 years of age can
register for it. And there will be
various green Darryl's paraphernalia
on sale all day.

doesn't appeal to you, what about

Entertainment under the tent will

Irish musicians. Guests can go inside
the club to dance.
WFUN and McCarthy's isn't the
only St. Patrick's Day combination
