Mexican food is perfect for family dinner outings. It's relatively inexpensive, it's satisfying, and it tends to cover up certain other odors on the breath that Mom and Dad might not be too happy about. So enjoy one of six Mexican restau rants in the area and tell your par ents the chef must have put a little too much tequila in the quesadilla. Cisco, Charlie & Chang features a unique combination of Mexican, Cajun, and Oriental dishes under one roof. Standard Mexican entrees in clude chimichangas and chicken fajita sandwiches. Cajun seafood and Gumbo will set your mouth on fire. And the Oriental specials which include sesame chicken salads and Singapore noodles round out a di versity of dishes not found anywhere else in Chapel Hill. Entree prices range from $4-25 to $12.50. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 1 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner is served 5:30 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. The restaurant is located at 1 15 N. Graham St. The Flying Burrito offers moder ately priced Southwestern American food in a down-home Mexican at mosphere. A variety of spicy entrees are offered for both lunch and din ner. If your tastes include a plethora of hot peppers, the Raging Bull Bur rito is for you. Friday and Saturday menus include seafood specials such as blackened grouper, hot pepper shrimp and king mackerel. The Flying Burrito is open for lunch Monday through Saturday 1 1:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for din ner seven days a week 5 to 10 p.m. It's located at 746 Airport Road. Magdalena's Restaraunte features high quality California Mexican dishes in a casual atmosphere. Pedro, the Mexican chef, can serve up some of the finest fajitas anywhere, as well as a variety of vegetarian entrees. The vegetarian quesadillas and vegetar ian chile may keep you from ever going back to meat. Magdalena's also provides its own entertainment in a live music nightclub upstairs from the restaurant. Magdalena's is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday and Sunday, 1 1:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for din ner Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, 5 to 9:30 p.m. Dinner is served on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 10:30 p.m. The nightclub is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Papagayo's Mexican Restaurant serves gourmet dishes carefully pre pared with high-quality ingredients and authentic seasonings. Dinner entree prices average $7.50 and lunch fares start at $3.95. Favorites among patrons include a variety of fajitas as well as the many non-Mexican dishes cooked on the mesquite grill. Papagayo's also features award-winning marga'ritas in their cocktail lounge. Lunch is served Monday through Friday 1 1:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Papagayo's dinner hours are from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The cocktail lounge is open daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Papagayo's is located in the NCNB Plaza on Franklin Street. Taco Bell serves a wide variety of standard Mexican dishes for those whose hunger demands immediate satisfaction. The menu includes such starters as nachos and cinnamon twists ' as well as entrees such as tacos, bur ritos, enchiladas, and chicken or beef fajitas.
