and intercepted by-local officials.
Claude Piersol, convicted of the kid
napping and under a 35-year sentence,
blamed Reilly as the originator of all
the kidnapping schemes. He wa3
known during the hunt for the kidnap
pers as "Scar Face" Reilly.

The fire losses for the last twenty

000 a year. They have been as low
I as $16,000 in one year, and as high as
?180,000 in another. The latter loss
was occasioned when the Seaboard
warehouses burned some years ago.
