Second Showing of .
'Sweet Family'
Advance sales of tickets indicate
that a large crowd will see the
second presentation of "The Sweet
Family," a side-splitting comedy,
at the Franklin courthouse on the
night of Tuesday, July 4. The cur
tain is scheduled to rise at 8
o'clock.
The show is sponsored by Circle
No. 2 of the Missionary Society
of the Franklin Methodist church
and the proceeds will be devoted
to church purposes. At its first
presentation, during the spring,
"The Sweet Family" drew a big
crowd; but even a larger audience
is expected at the second showing
next Tuesday night: The second
showuvg -is being given by special
request .of many who failed to sec
it the first time.

The Camp Foxes met Cowee's
baseball team on the Franklin field
near the depot Saturday afternoon
and won by a score of 8 to 5.

of, the best of the season. Keeter,
Paris and Johnston starred for the
victor's. Keeter and Johnston tallied
three hits each out of five times
up and Paris recorded, two out of
five.

The game between Rainbow
Springs and Holly Springs resulted
in a 5 to 3 victory for the Rain
bow boys. The game was a good.
one and a large crowd turned out
to see it.
Rainbow Springs was scheduled
to play the Camp Poxes in Frank
lin Saturday of this week, but the
game has been called off because
many of the .camp boys expect to
be away on leave for the Fourth
of July. On July 4 Coyvee and
Holly Springs will meet at 3
o'clock on the Franklin diamond.
