Conner and Joe Bishop have just closed a success ful revival meeting; at Liberty Bap tist church having 26 new ad ditions to the church. Misses Ruth and Hilda Morris, of Bryson City, spent the week end with their uncle, D. L. Clark. Mrs. W. H. Morrison has been very iir for the past two weeks, but .is now improved. Joel and Crawford Dalton, of Gastonia, spent the week-end with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Cagle, of Los Angeles, Calif., are spending three weeks visiting friends and relatives of Macon and Jackson county. Miss Helen Dalton is visiting relatives at Asheville, Canton and Gastonia. , Weldon Fou'ts and Henry Wilkie spent Saturday night at the home of W. A. McGaha. The members of the- Snow Hill Methodist church are installing lights in the church this week. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Carver are visiting Mr. Carver's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Carver. Franklin Mason, of California, is here on an extended visit to relatives. This is Mr. Mason's first visit in 45 years. Mrs. Jolin Cagle, of Savannah, visited Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mat lock Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry West, of Asheville, are visiting their par ents, Mrs. J. L. West, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Holbrooks, this week.. Mr. and Mrs. C. Tom Bryson and daughters, Ruth and Mildred, and Mrs. J. L. Bryson attended the baptismal services at Liberty and afterwards spent the afternoon "with U'r, and""Mrsr7Wiley Rick man Sunday. T. Macon county as "Aunt Marge," died at her home at Otto Wed nesday afternoon, July 19, at 5:30 o'clock. Death was attributed to high blood pressure. Funeral services were held Thurs day afternoon at the Asbury Meth odist church at Otto, with the Rev. J. B. Tabor, pastor, in charge. Mrs. Bradley is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Ledford and Mrs. Carl Smith, both of the Ot to section.
