TAX RATE SET At a meeting . of the Hoard of Commissioners, of the Town of Highlands the tax' rate lor the year 1933 was placed at $3.00 in stead .of $2.9S as last year. This was decided upon, after the v alua tion of real estate had keen lower ed .five per' cent bv the ' county. Date of sale for 1932 ' taxes has been postponed until November. 1 MANY VISIT HIGHLANDS LABOR DAY Labor Hay vacationists poured into Highlands at a. rapid rate last week-end. For., four - days. High lands was hostess to tourist trade which reached a record for the summer. One of the main attrac tions in the way of amusement was a square dance, at Helen's Rarn Saturday night.
