Baseball in Afternoon A baseball game between the Cherokee Indian team and the Ala eon County All-Stars, composed of players from the Cartoogechaye and Holly Springs teams of the Macon league, is scheduled for 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon at the C. C. C. camp diamond. There will be street dancing at 7 o'clock in the evening, followed at 8 o'clock in the courthouse by the fiddlers' convention, at which prizes also will be offered. In dividual fiddlers, as well as string ed bands, from a parts of the coun ty are urged to he present and take part. S. H. Lyle, Jr., manager of the Macon Theatre, announced he had arranged a special program for the Fourth, featuring Zane Grey's "The Thundering Herd." The first show will start at 10:30 a. m. and there will be other shows until midnight Camping Trip Planned By Young Farmers All members of the Young Tar Heel Farmers Clubare requested to meet at lite courthouse in Frank lin Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock for an overnight camping trip to Lake Rabun in North Georgia. Each member is asked to bring plenty of food chicken, ham, vege tables and jellies and his own equipment blanket, bathing suit, towel, plate, knife and fork, and cup. The time at the camp will be spent in swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. The group will be un der the leadership of their instruc tor, E. H. Meacham.
