Since the act became effective on November 1, 1935, 738,- 800 persons have been issued li censes permitting them to operate motor vehicles and 6,426 licenses have been revoked. Figures supplied today by the motor vehicle division showed; 1. One out of every 113 drivers in North Carolina has had his li cense Invoked for drunken driving or some similar offense within the 12-month period. 2. There has ibeen one drivers’ license revocation for each 82 li censed automobiles in the state. 3.
