Harvey L. Parry, Jr., was a busi ness visitor at Andy Wilson's Fri day. Furman Vinson and Noah Grist were 'among the business visitors in this section last week. The farmers of this section are very busy picking beans for the market. 'Mrs. S. R., McCall, son and daughter were visitors at the home of Andy Wilson Friday of last week. Work has started cutting the oak timber on the Parry farm on Turtle Pond. Evan Major, of, At lanta, is overseeing the work. Carl .Morgan, of Burningtown, was a visitor in thus community last week. Tom Wilson spent the week-end at Scaly. Andy Wilson made a business trip to Highlands Thursday. Blanche Wilson, who has been working at Camp Parrydise this summer, came home sick Friday. ; Edna Wilson spent the week-end at Camp Parrydise. Columbus Vinson spent a part of , last week on Broadway. Iotla Clyde Tallent, son of Aaron Tallent, who is in college at Wake Forest, is spending his vacation with home folks. Miss Helen Jacobs has returned from Winston-Salem after spending several days in that city visiting relatives. Mrs. Lucy Jacobs is visiting her sister, Mrs. Felix Ashe, in Jackson county. Mrs. H. P. Ray and son, Jack, were visiting in Canton last Thurs day and Friday. ; Miss Louise Ray has returned to Richmond, Va., after spending several' days with her toother, Mrs. H. P, Ray. James Mason and Charles Mor rison were in, Asheville attending the Hagenbeck-Wallace circus last Friday. Miss Ruby Russell, of Maryville, Tenn., is visiting her sister, Mrs. L. R. Liner, on Iotla; Mrs. Glenn Ray was in Asheville shopping last Friday. LeRoy Downs and Clark Burrill are spending some time in Ashe ville and Hendersonville visiting re latives and friends.
