Novelty place cards,' bearing a cat's head protruding from a bag, and exclaiming, "The cat's out ot the bag," served a double, purpose of directing-guests to their places and making the announcement. In addition to the honorees, the guests included the Rev. and Mrs. J. A. ' Flanagan, Miss Rosalind Bulgin, Miss Margaret A. Slagle, D.S., Abbott and Ben McGLamery.
