A specially prepared birthday
dinner was given in honor of Mr.
W. J. West last Thursday. Mr.
West, who has been confined to
his room due to illness for several
months, semed to thoroughly the
occasion. Only a few invited
guests were present.
The Music Club met at the home
of Mrs. George Potts last Satur
day afternoon. After the business
session, a most helpful and en
joyable musical program was giv
en. The program consisted of a
discussion cm chapters in the book,
"Music as. a Hobby", by Barton,
"Piano and Violin Solos," and
history of several great composers,
Beethoven, Chopin and Hodyn.
Delicious re shments were serv
ed. The next meeting will be with
Frankie Bell and Billy Gibson. A
Christmas program will be given,
which will consist of Christmas
carols and Christmas music, instrumental.
