Johnson amased a fortune of $40,000.00. Formerly in the gro cery business, his health failed, then he decided to plant Stark trees, and secured a little "patch" of rough land on which to start. After some time, his gross income for one year was $13,000.00, and he refused $40,000.00 for his orchard! At 86 his health is good. J Carl Kirn sold over $40,000.00 worth of apples from his "hilly < land" orchard, which was too steep for ordinary farm crops. i Stark Bro's Golden Delicious, Starking and Young-Bearing Jonathan brought him greatest profit. Some Golden Delicious tore at two years ? a good crop at 3 to 4 years ? and every : year since. Some trees brought him as much as $52.00 in a ] single year. Sold his entire crop at $3.50 per bu. on the trees! i With Stark trees and their free expert advice you can do the same right here in Macon or adjoining counties. 1 Two-year-old Stark Golden Pelictofts bore apples in 38 states, South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina included.
