W Mendenhall. and Don Alli son attended a meeting of Western North Carolina bankers and agriculture workers Tues day night in Waynesville. E. A. Wayne, vice-president of the Federal Reserve bank, Rich mond, Va., was the principal speaker of the evening, and the meeting was presided over by R. L. Cherry, manager of the Charlotte branch of the Feder al Reserve bank.
