same as that in effect four
years ago, Mr. Mann said. Any
person inthe service who 's 21
years of age or older, or who
will become 21 prior to Novem
ber 2, the date of the election
may register by mail or through
an Immediate relative? father
mother, brother, sister, husband,
or wife. Servicemen must regis
ter with the chairman of the
board of elections or with the
board's secretary, Miss Kate Mc

deeds office daily during busi
ness hours. Applications for ab
sentee ballots may be made in
the same way, and the ballots
will be mailed by the election
board direct to the servicemen.
