C., daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J. Q. Wallace, ' of Franklin, was married to Gerald Ghent, of Fort Collnls, Colorado, last Friday at high noon at the home of the bride's parents, In the presence of a few relatives and intimate friends. Mr. Wallace, father of the bride, officiated, using the dou ble ring ceremony. Background for the ceremony was two floor baskets of white gladioli with a semi -circle of evergreen between them. Miss Barbara Wallace, sister of the bride, played the wed ding music. The bride was attired in a dark green suit with which she used black accessories. Her cor sage was of orchids. Immediately after the cere mony, the bride's parents en tertained with an informal luncheon. The bride cut and served the wedding cake. Following a short wedding trip, the bridal couple will re suit: In Rock Hill. Out-of-town guests at the wedding were Miss Myrtle Wal lace, of Fort Mill, S. C., and Miss Barbara Wallace, of Rock Hill, S. C. Mtss Ann Lyle, student at Brenau college, Gainesville, Ga, was accompanied home for the week-end by her suite-mate, Miss Nancy Hooks, of Lublin, Ga. Mrs. Frances Wllmoth, who has been the guest of her sis ter, Mrs Allan Brooks, for the past five months, has returned to her home In Elklns, W. Va. Mr. and Mr?. John Archer, Jr., and W. W. Sloan, spent Thurs day and Friday in Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Page have returned home from an ex pended trip through the West. Mrs. Jim Hamill, who spent the summer in her new home lacing the golf course, has re turned to her winter home in Tampa, Fla. Neil Mooney, student at Geor ;ia Military college, Milledge ille, Ga., spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Mooney.
