PURDOM IS HOSTESS TO DEMONSTRATION CLUB The Cartoogechaye Home Demonstration club held its first meeting of the year Wed nesday of last week at the home of Mrs. E. S. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ritchie, of Elizabethton, Tenn., visited Mrs. Ritchie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Bryson, last week-end. Denver Holland, who has been 111, has recovered sufficiently to return to his work as guard at the prison camp. Mrs. Mary Jennings, of Otto, is visiting her son, J. E. Jen nings, and family here.
