for the Town Board of Alder
men, I do so with a full knowl
edge of the responsibilities in
volved, and a humble but sin
cere desire to help make our
town a better, cleaner and more
progressive place in which to
live and raise our children.
If elected, I shall work in my
own small way for recreational
facilities, not only for ourselves,
but for our summer visitors;
new Industries that would not
be objectionable, for additional
pay-rolls; a "clean up" and
"keep clean" policy, 52 weeks a
year; adoption, after careful
study, of a long ran?e city
plan, especially for public im
provements and utilities; and
full cooperation with the Zoning
Committee of the Franklin
Chamber of Commerce, and
adoption, after careful consid
eration, of an adequate and
sensible Zoning Ordinance.
Of course, no one member of
the Town Board could possibly
accomplish all of these things
by himself, but they are some
of the things that I am sincere
ly interested In, and will cer
tainly work for, if elected.
