The full two-layer skirt was ballerina length. Her ' veil of illusion fell from a wreath of mimosa and lily-of | the-valley. She carried a bou quet of gypsophila and step hanotis. The mother of the bride wore a dress of rose crepe with a lace Jacket and a red rose cor sage. The bridegroom's mother wee a beige ensemble with a red rose corsage. Mrs. Parrish was formerly employed by the Wachovia Bank and Trust company, Winston Salem. Mr. Parrish, for a num ber of years has been employed by the naval air station in Nor folk. Mr. and Mrs. Parrish, parents of the groom, entertained with an informal reception Wednes day evening at their home in Otto in honor of the bride and groom. The Parrish home was deco rated throughout with mixed flowers. The dining room table was overlaid with a lace cloth and centered with a heart shaped cake and flanked with low bowls of sweet peas and pansies. The couple plan to make their home in Norfolk. MISS WILLIAMS IS BRIDE OF W. B. ANDERSON Miss Betty Williams, daugh ter of Mrs. N. Grady Williams and the late Dr. Williams, of CJarkston, Ga., formerly of Franklin, was married to Wil liam B. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Anderson, of Clbficston at the Clarkston Bap tist chureh MPy 26. The Rev. Solon Couch offici ated. The church was decorated with palms and baskets of white gladiolus and snapdragons. W. Harvey Armistead gave his niece in marriage. She was attired in a gown of white ny lon and lace and carried a prayer book topped with an orchid spray. Mrs. Carroll Spivey, matron of honor, wore pale pink taffeta and Miss Helen Williams, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a gown of green net and lace. Both carried old fash ioned nosegays of pastel flow ers. Marshall Anderson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Kenneth Brock, Verne Skillarn, and Carroll Spivey, were usherg. Mrs. Williams and Mrs. And erson, mothers of the couple, wore navy sheer costumes with orchid corsages. At the reception Immediately following in the church parlors, Mrs. Arthur McCrum, sister of the bride, kept the bride's book and Mrs. Hunter Bassett, Mrs. Bob Boyd, Miss Maxine Wood, and Mrs. Marvin Parker assist ed in serving. Mrs. Anderson attended Clarkston High school and is now associated with the Em ployers Mutual Insurance com pany. Mr. Anderson attended Clarks ton High school and is now sta tioned at Fort Jackson, S. C. MRS. LASSITER WEDS NORMAN E. SIMMONS Mrs. Lucille Lassiter, daugh ter of Mrs. E. T. Calloway, of Franklin, Friday became the bride of Norman Eugene Sim mons, of Miami, Fla., and Franklin. The marriage was solomnized at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. Sim mons, of Franklin. The Rev.. M. W. Chapman, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated. The bride wore a dress of navy blue chiffon with navy and white accessories.
