Sander* Qualifies As Parachutist lit Army Pvt. Cecil Sanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ulyess Sanders, of Franklin, recently was gradu ated from the basic airborne course of the Infantry school as a qualified parachutist, accord lng to an announcement by Major Gen. John H. Church, commandant at Fort Bennlne, Oa. The course is designed to train volunteer officers and enlisted personnel from all branches of the service as qualified para chutists. MISS SHARITZ HONORED AT SHOWER Mrs. Tommy McKay and Miss Beverly Christy entertained with a miscellaneous shower last Tuesday evening at Slagle Me morial Building in honor of Miss Betty Sharltz, bride-elect of P.
