Dalton, of Franklin, Route 4, have an nounced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lorena Dalton, to Perry B. Shuler, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Shuler, of Franklin. Plans for the wedding are in complete. MISS WILLA M'GLAMERY TO MARRY W. D. SEAY Mr. and Mrs. Herbert A. Mc Glamery, of Asheville, formerly of Franklin, have announced the engagement of their daugh ter, Miss Willa Jean McGlam ery, to William Daniel Seay, son of Mr. and Mrs W. S. Seay, of Asheville. The wedding will take place 1 March 26 at the Calvary Baptist church in West Asheville. MRS. ANGEL ENTERTAINS WITH DESSERT BRIDGE Mrs. Edgar Angel entertained 1 with a dessert bridge party at 1 tier home, "Mid-Oaks", Friday afternoon. Five tables of bridge 1 were in play. Mrs. R. G. Lichtenstein won the prize for high score, and Mrs. J. E. Perry, Sr., the second 1 high prize. Mrs. J. L. West was awarded the low score prize, Mrs. Frank B. Duncan, the Bingo prize, and Mrs Claude Bolton, the consolation prize. ? Personals Mrs. Lawrence Dotson and | son, who have been with Sgt. Dotson at Fart Campbell, Ky., | are spending several weeks here. Miss Beatrice Douglas, the Macon Baptist missionary, is now making her home with Mrs. R. M. Dillard. Lt. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson recently moved here from Cleveland, Tenn. Miss Fannie Mae Sherrill, of Columbus, Ga., visited her mother, Mrs. Lallie Sherrill, last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Oren S. Bacon have moved here from Pahokee, Fla., and have purchased a home in the Phillips' Bridge section. Mrs. Bacon's daughter, Miss Donna Lynn May, student at Brenau academy, Gainesville, Ga , and her son, Ronnie May, a student at the Georgia Mili tary academy, visited them over the week-end. Miss Mary Alice Archer, stu dent at Wake Forest college, spent the week-end at home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bailey Fouts have moved into their new home on Lyle street. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Abernathy and daughter, of Athens, Tenn., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Hooker. Mrs. Charles T. Blaine, who is spending the winter with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Blaine, of Swannanoa, was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. J. Horner Stockton, here last week. Mrs. Frank L. Henry, Jr. and son, Tommy, are visiting Mrs. Henry's sister, Mrs. Charles Ferguson, in Winston-Salem.
