Vinson, of the Mulbur ry Community, became the bride James I. Vinson, of the Mulber February 14 at Newman's Chap el Baptist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Lyman Wilson, performed the double ring ceremony. Fred M. Grist, of Dlllard, Ga", presented a program of wed ding music, and Mr. Wilson sang. a solo. The bride was attired in a royal blue suit with blue and white accessories. Her corsage was a purple throated white orchid. Mr. Pitts is formerly of Rabun County, Ga., but has lived In Macon County for some time. He is employed by the Powha tan Mining Company. Following the ceremony, the couple left for a short wedding trip. Upon their return they will reside in the Mulberry section. MISS CURTIS MARRIES , RICHARD M. WOOD HERE Miss Bernlce Curtis, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Prince Curtis, of Dillard, Ga., Route 1, became the bride of Richard M. Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Wood, of Whittier, Route 1, February 22, at the court house in Franklin. The Rev. W. N. Cook per formed the ceremony. The bride wore a navy dress. She is a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1953. The groom is aboard the U.S.S. English, which left for a world tour February 25. Mrs. Wood will live with her parents while Mr. Wood is In service. Miss O'Keefe is a graduate of Maury High School, Norfolk, a member of Beta Sigma Phi In ternational sorority, Beta Alpha chapter, and a member of Dental Assistants' Society Club, 1948 to 1951, in Norfolk. Mr. Zachary attended Frank lin High School before entering the U. S. Navy. He Is now sta tioned at Atlantic Fleet Head quarters, Norfolk. Va.
