JACK CAN8LU i Community Reporter) The Iotla Rural Community Development Organization held Its regular meeting November 8. at the Iotla School and the follow ing officers were elected to seiv* for the coming year: President; Frank Plyler; vice-president; Paul Swafforci; vice-president; Miss Alice Lec Bradley; recording secretary; Mrs. ray Bennett; corresponding secretary; Mrs. Jay Houston; treasurer; Jack Cansler: reporter; Mrs. Jack Canslei ; sang leader; Miss Nora Moody; A discussion was held concern ing the extensive area the oie?n Ization is trying to Include In its development. Due to the lark of interest and participation, it seems that the boundary will have to take In a smaller area. Mr. Plyler, the newly electtd president, has called a special meeting for Monday, November 15. at 7:30 pm., Iotla School, to make plans for the year. Everyone interested in being in this organ ization is urged to be present. Specific plans will be made on determining the boundary and raising money to carry out pro jects. At this meeting, W. Lacy Har per, soil conservationst, will show farm plans and aerial photo graphs of farms of this section. This program should be of inter est to every farmer. Pine Grove Forms Mission Group, Training Union Pine Grove Baptist Church has recently organized a missionary society and a training union. The society has 3l members and will hold installation of of ficers Sunday night at 7:30 at the church. The training union meets each Sunday night at 6:30. at the church. E. R. Fox is director. V. T.
