To the conscientious father it is frightening, indeed. And, to the conscientious mother, equally frightening is her child's trust in her. It takes something more than love and good intentions to live\^ up to the expectations of our children. We need a strength and wisdom and tenderness that do not come auto matically with the responsibility of parenthood. God provides, and the Church instills in our lives, the spirit ual gifts which our parenthood requires. We were meant to cultivate these qualities, for with every challenge God offers us adequate resources. And our children will grow as we grow in the Christian faith, for the most obvious truth in the world is that a child wants to be like his Mother and Dad. 1 THE CHURCH FOR ALL . . . ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can. survive. There are four sound reasons why every .person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support Plan to go to church regu larly and read your Bible daily. Book "V .
