State College Answers Timely Farm Questions Q. How much milk Is recom mended by nutritionists (or dally use? A. For children, three to four cups; teen-agers, one quart or more; adults, two or more cups; expectant mothers, four or more cups; and nursing mothers, six cups. Q. What three nutrients, con tained in milk are needed In the human diet In larger quantities than many people consume? A. Most people need more cal cium, riboflavin, and protein. Milk contains all three. Q. Should you leave off milk when on a reducing diet? A. No. Research has shown that a person on a reducing diet gets along best when he consumes more protein than usual. This is a good reason for including plenty of milk, particularly skim or but termilk, in a slimming diet. Myers Is Discharged From U. S. Air Force After 4 Years' Duty George Myers, who served in the U. S. Air Force for four years, has received his dis charge. He served 14 months in Seoul, Korea.
