Keener left for New York Saturday, where he plans to work. The Rev. J. Q. Wallace and daughter, Miss Esther Wallace, went to Chattanooga, Tenn., last week to attend the funeral of Mr. Wallace's sister. Miss Frances Wallace. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Gnuse and family are spending a three-weeks' vacation in New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Swann and two children, of Ma coomb, 111., spent several days here last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mac Whitaker, and other friends. Mrs. D. W. Tutt, of Elberton, Ga., arrived Monday for several days' stay at Trlmont Inn, and to visit friends here. ?Mr. and Mrs. George Johns ton have returned to their home in Decatur, Ga., after a visit here with Mr. Johnston's mother, Mrs. T. Mrs. Ted Reber visited her daughter, Miss Doris Reber, in Oteen, last week. Martha Angel, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edgar Angel, re turned from Camp Deerwoode, near Brevard, Wednesday, after a two months' stay there. She won fifth place In the jumping class in the camp horse show last Saturday.
