Naturally. Finally, they located friend skunk hidden behind a chest of drawers in the bedroom. Mr. Lunsford called the cops. And Chief C. D. Baird reported for duty (above and beyond). With his .38, he blasted the vis itor to kingdom come. But not the smell. "I told them I could kill the skunk, but not the smell." the brave officer reported. He took the hound recently to the Georgia field trials In Alma. For two days running. Mr. Stewart's hound held a firm hold on second place. Then it disappeared, hot on the trail. Club Makes Plans For Forestry Book Bv JANICE THOMPSON ? Club Reporter' Fred Whitfield, district exten sion forester, helped members of the Cullasaja Community 4-H Cluo Cullasaja Community 4-H Club plan its forestry scrapbook at a meeting February 7 at the school. Sixteen members were present. Sharon White, president, presided. Last week the club ntet at the home of Mrs. Vernon BrysOn and took lessons in cooking and handi crafts. Pot holders made by the members were sold for the benefit, of the club. A hike is planned in the near future. The boys are going to make bird houses with 4 H emblems on them for each club member. Miss Cook Initiated Into College Sorority Miss Beverly Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Frank B. Cook, of Highlands, was recently initiated into Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi sorority at the Alabama Polytechnic Institute, Auburn, Ala . It has been announced.
